
Spicy scones with WOJNAR’S spicy spread and winter salad

Savory scones
- 250 g flour
- 2 teaspoons of baking soda
- 100 g grated Mozzarella
- 50 g soft butter
- 175 g WOJNAR’S hot spread
- 1 egg yolk
- Chopped herbs
- A bit of salt
- flour for the work surface
- Some cheese for sprinkling

Knead the flour with baking powder, cheese, soft butter, hot spread, an egg yolk, chopped herbs and a pinch of salt to form a smooth dough. Roll out the dough on a floured work surface to about 1.5 centimeters thick and cut out 12 circles (ø 6cm). Place the circles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 20 minutes until golden brown. For the winter salad, serve rocket, fried potatoes, mushrooms, olives, figs, orange slices, cranberries and feta with a dressing of your choice. Serve with the fresh, savory scones and offer some spicy spread for dipping.
